Only a brexiteer would equate quality olive oil with.....Bertolli. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

You mean like only a remainer would bother stocking up on ( frankly gnat's P ) Belgian beers and Lombardy sparkling wines, obviously.

Many South American beers are far preferable to the Belgian stuff, and amongst the world's best sparkling wines as thought by many are British examples.
But if you're desperately watching the pennies I suppose needs must Mayo.

Forget about it. Our best interests are not being looked after at all. Too much uncertainty, and too many job losses and movement of capital and entities to places like Dublin. They will never come back.

Technology is going to have far reaching consequences in the years to come. Companies will always base themselves where it most advantageous. The UK is a significant economy to have a foothold in. Though companies rise and fall over time. Who remembers Xerox, Kodak. Polaroid, or when Big Blue (IBM) dominated the global PC market........

You tried to deflect, you failed miserably and Nissan categorically stated Brexit was a factor in their decision. Get over it. :rotfl:

    Wrong.
    Again.

1 There has been no official statement regarding alleged Nissan moves in production.

2 You are deliberately deceiving by saying what has NOT been said. Read post number 307 again and please try to understand the difference.

Here endeth my participation in a familiar-looking session of back and forth remainer nonsense.

Here's another good reason why remainers are increasingly vocal and increasingly desperate:
Mrs May has insisted the departure date will not change, writing in the Telegraph that she would "deliver Brexit on time".

Yes, it looks like remainers are at least seeing their opportunity to reverse the Brexit vote disappear as each day brings the inevitable leaving ever closer.

Oh well, the view from outside UK is that there has been no planning, no organisation, no nothing, and all we are seeing is demands.

UK is seen as a laughing stock now, purely because they haven't a clue what the heck they want.

And BTW what the heck do they want, it is not clear at all, and no one seems to be able to tell me either.

So many entities have moved to Dublin now, and who can blame them. Those jobs will never return.

No, it is you that is wrong, again.

Nissan boss confirms Sunderland blow - Brexit 'not helping'
Today, Nissan's Europe division boss wrote to Sunderland factory staff confirming the news

Gianluca de Ficchy said ... uncertainty over Brexit had also played a part.

He said the announcement would be "interpreted by a lot of people as a decision related to Brexit" and that "uncertainty around the UK's future relationship with the EU is not helping companies like ours to plan for the future".
Or will you now be arguing that Nissan's European boss writing to the Sunderland staff is somehow not "official?" :rotfl:

Labour needs a big kick up the eighties too, they are not much better, but they are not in power either. I think they are sunk. But FPTP means that true democracy will never be a feature in the UK either, if it survives united.

Corbyn has been negative on the EU for most of his political career.

It doesn't take much digging to see that.

There *was* a true democratic option for *any* Remainer in the last GE.

It was offered by the LibDems, who are a mainstream party with recent government experience.

If people felt so passionately about Remaining, they would have voted LibDem.

I daresay that many were seduced by Corbyns' bribery on student loans etc though.

The EU will put the squeeze on Ireland and it's corporate tax gaming in time. Not right now, but in time.

If the UK economy goes into the tank, then so does Ireland. They know how exposed they are.

There was nothing to stop UK from having a low Corporate Tax rate either was there? They chose not to.

So the angst about other EU countries who did this is moot IMO.

UK is a little piece of a big thing. But their hubris does not allow them to realise this.
