Come on Phil, how desperate is that reply. :)

I'm not desperate, why are you upset that I'm right?

“When uncertainty rises, but demand is still robust, it makes sense for businesses to meet that demand by expanding their workforce rather than by increasing investment spending,” he said. “Employment decisions are less costly to reverse.”

Of course I expect the brexit headbangers to claim that everybody hates experts and data now. The head ache from all that head banging is about to set in.

Just how much capital investment is taking place in the EU? Look it up and then try to tell us how badly the UK is doing.

So may is still flogging her deal threatening each side with no deal or no deal brexit.

Which does the forum think is more likely?
I would like no brexit so I’m biased and don’t feel I can be objective right now.

Wouldn't be surprised if she still gets her deal through.

As Bercow has said she can’t flog the same dead horse and 75MPs need to change sides I hadn’t considered that a possibility.
I think that will be pretty bad/chaotic for the Irish border and the death knell for the minority government.

Macron in France will allegedly veto the extension deal, ergo crash out would be my guess.

I think getting enough MPs onboard is main problem I believe there are ways around Bercow's ruling but she would need a majority.

    No easy choices

Only real chance of getting around Bercow is end the session of parliament, which wont work with the EU, so thats out. If France veto the deal your left with crash out or veto article 50. I prefer the latter, but it will be the death of the conservatives for a generation, so that wont happen.

Yep Macron has taken the decision out of her hands! I have never seen such an incompetent PM. Parliament has already voted against a 'no deal' so by rights she should revoke article 50!

I believe that Theresa May is going to say that holding the vote after March 29th is a change, which I expect to be rejected, then they will start a campaign of anger against him where his picture is on the front of the daily mail with the caption "enemy of the people".

Then it will go to court.

We will have to see how the meeting plays out, one person doesn't make a council.

The parliamentary vote against no deal was advisory (like the referendum), the law still says we leave with no deal & May is more likely to do that than revoke article 50.
