Is this correct? What they mean is the report is not the final decision. It's very rare they go against the report though and they usually award what's recommended. When you receive it look for the dots next to the activities/descriptors and use the PIP descriptors online to see what score may have been recommended. If any points are recommended in the report they are not added because it's just a recommendation.0 -

To give you some kind of time frame.
My wife had home assessment 05/02. Text to say report received 07/02. Was advised would be 6 weeks.
Rang 06/03 to get copy of report and was told over phone that decision has been made (Lower on both) Backdated money paid in today (12/03) but we still have not received letter.
Which I need as we are going for Mandatory reconsideration. As Mrs mobility is so bad. I can't work out how she got lower rate. Given she can not walk more than 20Mtr and has no concept of how to plan a trip.
Good luck and stay sane while waiting.Life in the slow lane1 -

That would recommend standard for both parts. They usually go with the report, it's rare to go against it but it can happen. Hopefully it won't be too long for a decision but there's no timescales.
