Finally had notification that the DWP has received the report back from Capita. Have requested a copy and have been advised it should take a maximum of 5 days and is subject to change by the decision maker.I'm Ever hopeful!:j:j:j:j0

I've double checked the time scale for mine.
I had the form filled in on 20th December 2018 and posted it to them on 21st Dec.
Bearing in mind it was Christmas, I had my (Atos) medical on 7th January 2019
I received a letter from them on Saturday 26th Jan 2019 saying they had all the info etc and I've no need to contact them they will make a decision in the next so many weeks.
And 5 days later on Thursday 31st January, I received their decision letter (dated 23rd Jan)The way things are going, soon we are all going to be victims of something or other.
Who will we blame then?0 -

.
Typical.
Medical assessor completely misunderstands how my depression affects me.
My CBT therapist states they are not allowed to support PiP applications. The way things are going, soon we are all going to be victims of something or other.

I have to laugh. The one place designed to help people suffering with mental health issues is not allowed to help at all with benefit evidence, hence ends up stressing and depressing us more.
Compare that to my pain management specialist who has just saidI am happy to support and have put a time in after clinic Thursday afternoon to dictate information needed. I will make it urgent for typing as I am aware of the impact all of this has on you.
I feel better now knowing I will have evidence backing up my condition (pain specialist has a history dealing with mental health issues)The way things are going, soon we are all going to be victims of something or other.

Is there anyone else involved in your care who could support your application? Have you checked the links that Poppy12345 and Alice Holt have posted?I'm Ever hopeful!:j:j:j:j0 -

GP is now also writing a letter explaining how my CFS affects me.
While thankful for those links, I was already aware and had one with me when I had someone fill out the original form.
They are also going to read over my letter before I send it in (and reword it to be short and to the point)The way things are going, soon we are all going to be victims of something or other.

My sinceer appologies to both Poppy12345 and Alice Holt
These links I wrongly presumed pointed to other info I had. They were indeed very very helpfull and I completely re-wrote my mandotory reconsideration letter due to them.
Many many thanks.
The lady that filled in my original form has read it, said it was very good, suggested a couple of changes and made me remove one part that she said will do the opposite of what I want to achieve.
Fingers crossed
It was as short as possible, consise and to the point. Hopefully it will do the trick. The way things are going, soon we are all going to be victims of something or other.

Well that was a complete surprise.
I sent my mandatory reconsideration letter asking them to look at a few points on the daily living side of things, didn't mention the mobility side.
Today I received their reply.
Not only have they increased my daily living points from 8 to 16, giving me the enhanced rate, they also increased my mobility score from 4 to 8 meaning I now get the basic rate for that.
Wonder if that will have any effect on my new ESA tribunal (I scored zero points last time)The way things are going, soon we are all going to be victims of something or other.

Please helpIt's perfectly normal for them to receive the report back within that time. Sometimes they are returned within hours of the assessment taking place. It doesn't mean anything. The person you spoke to yesterday wouldn't have known anything about your report or your claim. If you want some idea what the decision is likely to be then ring again to request a copy of the report to be sent to you. This will give you some idea what the decision is likely to be because they mostly go with the report. Also 250 pages of evidence is rather a lot and isn't needed unless that evidence is relevant to how your conditions affect you and then it's far too much. Less is often more. There's no timescales for decisions and it can be anything from 2-8 weeks, sometimes longer.1
