You could always wait to see if the date is one where you'd like a day's holiday anyway in nice weather in April or May, and if not then you can write to say you want the claim heard in your absence.

You can do that up to a couple of weeks before the hearing.

So no I wouldn't start offering money again. Shows you to be wobbling, IMHO.

It can't be LA land. ParkingEye never act on LA land, ever.

But still complain to your MP and Councillors about the infestation in that car park, causing untold grief to people. Point out the Parking Bill going through Parliament and the fact ParkingEye have been named and shamed several times in the House of Commons during these debates about the worst conduct of the industry which has failed miserably to regulate itself, due to greed.

  • I complained and yes they just directed me to the parlking fines department who then said they could not help. I will dig out the landowner they found for me however.

They have not helped in this case.

Also no response from Parking Eye yet

Does anyone think it might be worth making another without prejudice offer of settlement now a defence has been filed? How strong is my argument here? My only concern is I start a new job soon which is contract based so if I take a day off I am going to lose money whether I win or lose this case now

Although if it is felt I have a strong case I am more than likely willing to go out of principle to be honest
any news about your defence mate?
