now recieved 2nd letter for 100 or debt collection agency will be notified

Does anyone think it might be worth making another without prejudice offer of settlement now a defence has been filed? How strong is my argument here? My only concern is I start a new job soon which is contract based so if I take a day off I am going to lose money whether I win or lose this case now
Although if it is felt I have a strong case I am more than likely willing to go out of principle to be honest0
