Female haircut at Barbers!
Comments
-
I've cut my husbands hair tonight.
He used to go to the barber and he always came out looking like he'd been scalped!!!" It took a few weeks of re-growth before it looked ok.
So about 4 years ago I bought a set of clippers from Boots, took a deep breath and just took my time. He was happy with the cut and over the years we experimented with a few highlights and the 'mohecan' look that was in last year. I've got better and better and ended up buying a pair of decent hairdressing scissors and some Wahl clippers.
Tonight I did a cracking cut with graduations round the back and sides and chopping into the top before applying wax for a bit of texture...... course a few glasses of wine helped with my creativity:rotfl: :rotfl: .... Still it saves £6 every 6 weeks

Core you are very brave or he is. I know now where I can go to get my number 3s (joke). Maybe you should change your name to Chopper Charlie.
Great Money Saving tip. Just watch how much you are drinking. Need I say more? “Didn’t I ask for a short back & sides…?” :rotfl:0 -

The trick is knowing that when you have to close one eye to focus it's probably a good time to put the scissors down.

I have to pay £28 to just have about a inch cut off my hair and a few layers defined - this is in a "poor" area of town..... hence why i go only once or twice a year... (nothing a hair bobble or some straighnters cant solve
when it gets too long)
It also cost me £60 to have it dyed (semi-permanently) from my natural blonde to black.. they wanted me to come back every six weeks and pay £30-40 to have my roots done!!!! That was 18 months ago?! Since then ive not had my hair coloured in the hairdressers instead i buy a permanent home dye (usually on offer too - like 2 for £7) works out £3.50 - or £5 MAX if its not on offer.. every 6 weeks and get my mum to do them and it looks just the same!
I do need to get it cut soon though as its getting unmanageable and looks scruffy and i have job interviews coming up hopefully.. but mum has offered to pay for me to get it done for xmas so!
