Sky - best price still more expensive than new customer

I am out of contract, currently paying £62.49 for variety, fibre broadband and landline (no calls). Last night after a very long phone call, the lowest deal they could offer me was entertainment, fibre broadband and landline (no calls) for £46.49 per month. I took out an 18 month deal at this price with 14 day cooling off period.
I have seen a deal for new customers for entertainment, max fibre, landline and unlimited calls for £42 including a Sky Q box.
Has anyone had any luck negotiating a 'new customer' deal when you are an existing customer? Being a customer for 20+ years does not get the best deals!!

Understand that new customer deals are for new customers. You will have already had your new customer offer two decades ago!

What you want is a RETENTION deal, otherwise you will leave and obtain a new customer deal from another supplier!
