  • Hi guys,

    This just back...

    Good afternoon

Thank you for your email I will need a full copy of the parking charge notice so I can look into more further.

If you have appealed to POPLA you made need to withdraw from them as it will have an input in to what I can do such as cancelling

As soon as I receive this information I will be happy to investigate.

    Kind regards !
    Barnet & Chase Farm Parking

So do I withdraw first or send them the info first, see if they will cancel it and then withdraw?

No, do not withdraw until it's cancelled.

Email straight back, thank that person and mention you did offer that in your email and will withdraw POPLA - only in the event that you are 100% reassured the PCN is indeed going to be cancelled, and that has been confirmed by PE as well.

Say that then you will withdraw the POPLA appeal but time is of the essence as the decision might be made any day now, and could he/she get back to you as a matter of urgency with the cancellation you sincerely hope they will sanction.

  • So...

    Dear X,

Thank you for your email response. I would be more than happy to withdraw my appeal from POPLA, but only in the event that I am 100% reassured the PCN is indeed going to be cancelled, and that has been confirmed by ParkingEye as well. I don't want to withdraw my appeal and then find I have nowhere to go with you, as I won't then be able to re-start an appeal.

Time is of the essence as the decision might be made any day now; there is only a finite time in which to respond to ParkingEye's response to POPLA. Therefore, please could you get back to me as a matter of urgency with the cancellation you sincerely hope they will sanction.

Below are the details of the parking charge notice.

    Yours,
    Me

    Any good?

    "cancellation you sincerely hope"

should be: "cancellation I sincerely hope".
  • Hi all,

Latest update: BCFP have said they can't cancel the ticket as it was issued by an attendant and not via ParkingEye and ANPR. I sent them the digital photographs that PE sent with the time and date of entry and departure, so hopefully they will get back to me ASAP.

    What a faff!

How does that square with MOH guidelines?

60 odd pages is ridiculous, a waste of court time for a £2.00 underpayment. Judges should come down on this abuse of court processes.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.
  • I agree! But it wasn't an attendant, unless they scaled the ANPR camera pole and took the photos of me arriving and leaving while they were up there! So surely they have that wrong anyway?

    Ludicrous.

Email them again first thing and say they need to look at this properly and cancel the scam. Of course a ParkingEye ANPR camera (eye in the sky) postal PCN wasn't a windscreen PCN from an 'attendant'!

Even if you are repeating yourself, push them and then ring them by lunchtime.

  • Morning,

Had an email back to say it was issued by an attendant and need to speak to parking - then gave me the number for ParkingEye.

I replied asking why there was no ticket on my windscreen if it was issued by an attendant, how the attendant got up the camera pole just as I was entering and leaving the hospital, and if it wasn't to do with PE, why are THEY sending me their evidence and digital photography?

Is it always this much hard work??
