yes in my opinion , the info would be forwarded to ITAL prosecution and court papers will follow

In that case I think we are back to the situation where Indigo were not offering PoPLA and we advised posters to keep asking lots of questions to run the clock down.

  • yup , nothing lost with 20 questions and INDIGO cannot start court , but if you appeal , then you may very well get court papers

sort of hard to choose which way to go (not)
  • At the moment I am appealing to PCNs to INDIGO for PCNs they sent too late for me to appeal online.

I can’t seem to find a postal address for Indigo appeal ?

Second question is : Do I appeal to ITAL before day 28.

    Thanks!!
  • Regarding court: I thought they would not recup money by going to court so what would be the point?
  • there is no effective indigo appeal , it is famed out to ZZPS and cannot be taken as an appeal , ZZPS only get paid , if you pay up

regarding the ital appeal , 11 tickets , wow , if anyone is begging to be taken to court , you are

do an appeal if you wish , but why bother ? , you win , ok good , you loose , not good as you may have 11 summons to court (from ital , debt prosecution - that also run the appeals service)

dont appeal , put up with junk mail , knowing that indigo cannot start court action

why in my local newspaper , weekly court report have 12 different people been taken to court for fare dodging ?

local newspaper reports stop other people attempting , you are in a situation that you can "say nothing" and are bulletproof
  • Why can’t they start court action? I don’t get it..?
11 and there will be 3 more i.e. as many days I parked and paid using their app which does not work.
If they don’t recup money from court there might as well be 100, why would they bother..?

Something I am missing out clearly..

With 11 tickets the risk of them attempting prosecution might be quite high. I would be more inclined to ignore than appeal.

ok , indigos contract with the train co forbids them from starting court action

this racket has been going on for many yrs , search on here , pepipoo other sites and even google for a indigo / railway court case , report back when you find the millions of them (not)

indigo/railways are bylaws , magistrates court , not county court , and someone has to lay charges within 6 mths - indigo cannot (contract) and due to DVLA rules cannot give your details to train co , who would then use ital prosecution to bring charges

if you appeal to ital , YOU have given details , BANG , the court papers come !

in the words of ITAL boss , if you do not like the appeal result "can take the case to the magistrates (as long as it is within the 6 month deadline)."

by "take" I think this is "argue in court"

I don't see how anyone will get court papers, as it's not a parking charge/contract law matter, and only the TOC could take it to Magistrates court, as we know.

Within 6 months only, then it's killed off.

Looks like ITAL have no idea at all about parking byelaws and we'd hope they will flail around and take a few weeks over their decision.
