FYI, Ridgecrest to Las Vegas is 238 miles by road but far less as a crow flies.

Someone has posted a video about that Hawaiian Marketplace being sold.

Sounds interesting. I have to admit that every time someone posts a very recent LV video, it's like I struggle to recognise some of it. At the beginning of this one, it has the Waldorf Astoria on the left. I'm sure that wasn't there last time we went.
It's almost completely changed since we first went in 2001. Some good, and some bad.
BEST EVER WINS WON IN ORDER (so far) = Sony Camcorder, 32" lcd telly, micro ipod hifi, Ipod Nano, Playstation 3, Andrex Jackpup, Holiday to USA, nintendo wii, Liverpool vs Everton tickets, £250 Reward Your thirst, £500 Pepsi, p&o rotterdam trip, perfume hamper, Dr Who stamp set, steam cleaner.

comping = nowt more thrillin' than winnin':T :j

Waldorf Astoria was Manderin Oriental until earlier this year (maybe late last year?)

    Ah, gotcha.
I bet it's just as reassuringly expensive as well. That's the one with no casino too, isn't it?

Yes and it's pretty weird. Reception is on the 23rd floor. You have to get the lift up there first, then check in, then go around to another lift to access the room floors.
We had 4 nights bought with Avios, and they didn't charge the resort fee on reward nights.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

What's a premium reward on myVegas?
We are looking at using some credits for room stays but a lot of the places say "this is a premium reward" and don't show the promotional calendar.

You can use 3 premium rewards per month and all other rewards are unlimited

    Thanks.

If I purchase some comp room nights do I have to use them within 30 days or book them in that time. Were not going till September 9th.

And am I correct I can't book more than 1 room comp reward in a 30 day period?

You have to book the comp room within 30 days of buying the reward. You can see the calendar once you buy the reward, but they have been out for ages so availability may have gone for September.

Last year we each had a 2 night room comp at the Vdara and were very lucky to find not only 4 consecutive nights, but they were for the last 4 nights of our stay.
