Which washing machine next?

Have a look at this:
https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/samsung-ecobubble-ww90j5456fx-9-kg-1400-spin-washing-machine-graphite-for-34110-with-code-currys-3148795
Not sure if the code still works but worth a look. You get 5yr warranty with Samsung if you register with them.
Don't forget cashback if you're buying from Currys.0 -
We take the view that we buy the cheapest available (with good reviews) without any insurance on the basis that it is not cost effective to get it repaired and by buying cheapest we can afford, and are prepared, to replace when it has problem. Our last washing machine (Beko) lasted over 6 years and has just been replaced by another Beko (£250). We are satisfied with that outcome.0

this £600 Miele have 5 years warranty.

Yes, but three cheaper units costing the same in total would have a 6-year warranty. With machines potentially lasting five minutes to 20 years regardless of warranty, it's easy to see why the cheaper models sell well.0

Another vote for John Lewis own brand.
Ours is integrated and now 7 years old and seems to be as good as new - about 4 washes a week......0 -
Love these ‘Which washing machine’ threads....
Seems to boil down to buy cheap and replace every year or two but obviously forget about the hassle of a broken machine i.e. calls outs, laundrettes etc delivery, installations etc etc not to mention the crappy feature set, noisy, slow and inefficient etc.
Or the other side of the coin get a 10 year guarantee. As it ages it still means having to wait for an engineer to turn up diagnose the fault and then comeback with parts. Besides who the hell would want a 10 year old washing machine? Look at how much more efficient they are now it terms of water, electricity and programmes compared to 2008.
So, my thinking 2 years ago was to buy (as it so happened) a Miele WKH120 for £1500. It came with a 5 year warranty but should last much longer. As such after 5 years I’ll get rid of it to a needy relative and buy Miele’s next lastest and greatest.
Total cost to me is £300/year for a top of the line washer with all the features/programmes i.e. autodos, whisper quiet, 1600 spin and an A+++ wash in under 1 hour for about the price of a crappy Beko and a constant churn in machines.0 -
Don't think any washer can do A+++ and 1hr washes on the same cycle it's one or the other.
The top of the range miele say their A+++ washes are 179mins.0 -

By the way, the A+++ wash takes 2½ hours.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0 -

Yes, £300/year which compared to a Beko at the same price with the crappy feature set and what, yearly/Biennial replacement schedule makes the Miele good value in my view.
Apologies, I stand corrected it is in fact an A rated wash in under an hour rather than A+++
Seems odd that only Miele seem to talk about wash performance others seem to hide it away or not publish at all.0
