Annoyed about the increased incentive as I switched in November under the old terms (just had the £125 paid). That said, I did get £50 Quidco which isn't available at the moment, so I guess I'm up overall!

Hi MaIF, did your Quidco cashback pay out, and if so when? I did my application through Quidco too, but cashback was declined a couple of days ago. :(

I'm suspecting it's either because I had two tracked applications (first application was failed because of an id error, so I had to redo it the next day), or because the email address for Natwest doesn't match the one I use for Quidco. Have filed a claim and hopefully get my cashback eventually!
  • Has anyone got the bonus yet? Is it paid automatically or will it come later, at the end of the promotion? I've met the requirements but haven't got anything yet. With other banks I've had switching bonuses from it has come through instantly as soon as the requirements are met.

On a side note, I wasn't particularly impressed with the switching service. I got way too many automated texts, it felt like every day, some of which were very misleading - the first one said "Your address was updated on 31/01/19 as requested by you. If you didn't make this request, please contact us urgently." which is not what you want to hear from a bank when you're opening a new account and don't even have online banking access! These were alongside emails at the same time which drip fed slightly more information.

The requirement for making a payment in online banking, otherwise all payments are restricted to £500 is ridiculous. Their app and online banking are just a bit mediocre. I'm not sure how this got voted the best, as Nationwide's is definitely better (and neither of them come close to Monzo, obviously)

Depends when you did the switch, as the offer has changed a bit over time. What were the T&Cs when you switched?
  • Switched in January,. The requirements were to switch, pay in £1500 and login to online or mobile banking by a certain date (all met). All it says is that it'll be paid by 19th April...

Then it will be. If not, you have cause for complaint.

From memory of using an earlier NatWest switch offer, my incentive payment was received shortly before the deadline.

I've just checked. £125 incentive was due by 13th April. Mine was credited 10th.

I need to get out more:rotfl::rotfl:

Thanks. I guess I'll stop checking until we're closer to the deadline.
