£150 switch incentive from NatWest (2019)

Hi, so I opened at natwest account in branch on the 21st jan, but didn't do the switch until the 24th Jan, online(didnt have my old account details with me). In the ts and Cs it says new customers must switch as part of the application process, and existing customers with accounts opened prior to the 7th of January. So my question is, even though I've switched, closed my old account, and have paid the required funds in, and logged into online banking, will I get the 150? Any inclination, would be appreciated. Ta 😀0

As you haven't requested the switch as part of opening your first current account with Natwest, you became an existing customer who switched. As long as you meet the terms for existing customers, which it seems you already have, you should be paid your switch bonus.Hi, so I opened at natwest account in branch on the 21st jan, but didn't do the switch until the 24th Jan, online(didnt have my old account details with me). I believe I have been misled by the conditions that were originally outlined when I switched my original Natwest account as an existing customer. I read through the conditions when I changed my account and I have since met the requirements first outlined. When looking at the terms and conditions just now it says I must of switched a non Natwest account which I have not done as it wasn't part of the original criteria. Overall this is miss leading. Has anybody else contacted NatWest regarding this issue as an existing customer?0

You must have misread and/or misunderstood the Ts & Cs of the January 2019 offer, which have always required a CASS switch of a non-NW account to qualify.I believe I have been misled by the conditions that were originally outlined when I switched my original Natwest account as an existing customer. This is stated in the Ts & Cs document linked from post #4 of this thread, but if you're going to allege that they've surreptitiously been changed since January, I'd point you towards the terms of the previous offer from last year, which also had identical wording about the need to switch a non-NW account:
so I'm afraid you're going to need to accept that you were mistaken....2. Existing customers who already have a NW Select, Reward, Select Silver, Reward Silver, Select Platinum, Reward Platinum, Black or Reward Black account (‘eligible current account’) opened prior to 3 October 2018, must:
(a) transfer a non-NW current account to your existing eligible current account (which includes closing your non-NW current account and moving all your payment instructions to your eligible current account) using the online Current Account Switch Service, or switch through a NW branch;0 -
Some would see that as lucky, now you have the chance to take up their £175 offer instead.I believe I have been misled by the conditions that were originally outlined when I switched my original Natwest account as an existing customer.
