Happy new year to you all.
Iam have a problem with updating itunes it say there is a newer version to download but when i click on the download now button it just does nothing. So clever me thought i would uninstall it and then reinstall it to the latest version. But it want uninstall the older version, it says cant find correct path. Any help would be greatly received.

Just download and install a new version from https://www.apple.com/itunes/download// and it should sort itself out.0

Before you download the new version, back up your music.
OR
Consider storing your music as mp3s in a library outwith iTunes, and importing it to populate the iTunes library. If you have similar troubles with the program in future, repopulating the library is a single click away (with the "Add folder to library" option)0 -

Can you specify a different path to install the new version in, not the default one?
It's a while since I last installed it, can't recall if there is this option or not.0 -

+1 for revo uninstaller. It gets rid of bits that the normal program installer misses.0

Hi thanks for the replies. Is it easy to use and understand for someone as thick as me. I see for some of it you have to pay. Will the free version work for what I need.0

I use it to uninstall some products completely and have never paid. Yes it is quite simple to use. You get invited to upgrade to the "professional "version but don't have to. There is a button called uninstall at the top and a list of programs you can choose to uninstall0

There's a portable (non-install) version ... maybe use that (free) version?0
