I unknowingly kept you company FFP with spring cleaning the superking, WM x 1 that is now pegged out, and the second load is now twirling. That took well over two and a half hours so I've done enough hard work for one day, I think. Semi-permanent lodger will move back into the superking later today and at some point I'll turn the double around this week, too, most likely Tuesday or Wednesday because I'm at the Foodbank on Monday.
I have also been up to the attic and hoicked down the four 50 litre storage boxes of jars that have been building up as I decided not to make any crabapple jelly in 2017 or 2018, no pear and ginger chutney in 2018 and no jam last year either. They'll go to the scrap store at some point this week but in the meantime the kittens are playing in the tunnel made from their lids and loving it.
OH has written his question for our MP's open meeting this afternoon with a bit of prodding and tweaking from me. I'm not sure what mine will be yet but when I hear what he's got to say no doubt something will crop up. He doesn't represent the party I belong to, but he's a local man and I have a lot of time and respect for him. I need to jump in the shower so I'm not 'cleaning fragrant' if you get my drift. It's going to be packed in the Guildhall this afternoon and one doesn't want to be antisocial.Better is good enough.0 -

Just about to fold what came out of the dryer. Rubbish still needs to go out but I'll get DD to help with that when she gets in from dancing. She also has her bed to make and her room to tidy, so I'll be popular

Lots of ((hugs)) Roundtuit and a load of sticks being thrown at that pesky BD.
I went out for a 5 mile walk with a friend this morning. Somewhere I had never been to which was nice. Very breezy on the top of the hills so head cobwebs have definitely been blown away. My legs ache now though.
It was a quick soup for lunch, wm has run, HHI and pizza for tonight’s tea made. I now need to turn some old tomatoes into sauce to top it. Then it is back to the RoD to sort through the clutter that I pulled out of the under bed storage yesterday. You wouldn’t believe how much I could fit in there! Or maybe you would...0 -
All washing is now folded and put away. Last load in TD, washing basket is empty for 2 minutes at least:dance:
Mr A shop staple shop done delivery on Tuesday, while watching Potter.
DD home and tidying her room. Auntie has sent some homemade soup and some cakes over so that's lunches sorted for tomorrow :T
Just had a phone call to let me know I've no lift to work tomorrow so I'll have to catch the bus at 6.30 am  early bed for me tonight.
That's me I'm doing no more today, and I'm not cooking takeaway dinner tonight!I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -
Sorry, Roundtuit.
Got bored with spending my birthday sat downstairs on my own whilst Himself merrily snored the entire day away, so managed to empty a huge carrier bag's worth of food that had been allowed to go off from the fridge, organise the washing up, put the recycling out and prise old teabags off the chopping board and every other surface.
Himself heard me and appeared behind me. I have a bunch of red Tulips, which is nice.
Just as well he didn't hear me talking to a friend earlier about how I'm past fed up and now just bored with his permanent inaction.
He's sat in silence ever since, other than asking me to decide what to cook. And that's without knowing what I think of him/the situation at the moment.
Not the best of days for me here.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -

Thank you Honey Bear0 -
Finally made it on here. Sorry about your rubbish birthday Jo Jo but sending you good wishes anyway.
I've been to the tip four times today with DD2, which included loading up her (big) car with knocked down wardrobes (complete with mould) and emptying it at the tip while the workmen there leaned back and watched. Shattered now. I did get a load of washing done and dried as well.0 -
I finished packing for my work trip
Prepared my car for work trip (tire pressures, washer fluid, diesel etc)
I prepared the husband for my work trip (meal plan pointed out, shopping list pointed out, washing machine instructions placed on top of washer)
Then I left for my work trip 5 hours traveling time as expected.Outstanding mortgage: £23,181 (December 19)
