Can you run CPU-Z again? This time go to the Tab at the end(I think it's About and then txt dump(or similar)
It should produce a .text file and leave it on the desktop.
Open the text file and copy and paste the Motherboard and memory information here.
Better still is if you could post the whole page here. You can choose HTML Dump, but that has a little less info, but that will be fine.
Can we have some details of your laptop? Model no. etc.
It could be that it takes PC 2700 DDR Ram.
Either way, 192MB is woefully inadequate and is probably the cause of your slowdown.
I will post these details up for you when working with the laptop again, it should be sometime tomorrow night.

You'll need to find out where the memory modules are situated. Maybe someone could help if you post details of the model no.0
