Hello darkness. I was wondering when you would return. So today's been an absolute pig from start to finish. Everything has unnerved and jarred me in ways that it hasn't been recently. Another bad couple of situations brewing at work and I came close to telling some home truths, and firing off emails stating my intention to leave. But I didn't. Not yet. Have also been playing phone tag with the doctors since I got the ominous voicemail that the results (of the MRI, CT and Holter I had at the end of December ) were in and they wanted to speak to me. This is not I imagine good news.
But on the plus side, the cat seems quite cheerful tonight.0 -
Hello Pendulum Man,
I hope you have been in contact with the doctor to make an appointment and I hope things turn out better than you hope.
Have you had any luck with the CC rates yet?Debt: £11,640.02 paid in full! DFD: 30/06/20

To whoever said I was spinning too many plates - you were right. And at the moment the money situation isn't the one with the tightest noose around my neck. Hoping to get a few more medical answers this week and have finally got onto a fitness course for Cardiac Rehab starting this week too. That's got to take priority over the pounds and pence. Still not sacked yet which is also a bonus but the rustling of that P45 is never too far away.0

I love how honest you are.
From reading what you've said I think you need to priotise your health. Both mentally and physically. I think you're already seeing how much of an impact it's having on you. I'm sorry the new results weren't good but at least they are supporting you with it. I think getting too concerned about debt is going to make your other two focuses too hard. Plus, not to be rude but I get the impression you'll be spending less on food going forward. Get to a better place and then you can start to really tackle the debt. I think stay here or focus on the fitness forum or both. Keep reading diaries here so you can see what methods you want to pinch. Having been here a good deal of time myself and STILL being in debt I am finding it is the saving and paying off method that works.
I hope you're feeling stronger soon and we hear from you with some great news about your steps. XLoan 1 £5200/£8000

Hi PendulumMan,
It might have been me (in a roundabout way).
I - and everyone else, I suspect - completely understand your decision.
I imagine that the stress of the debt and your work situation probably isn't helping your health.
If you can only focus on one area, make it your health.
If you feel that focusing on more than one area (however little you might be focusing on the second in comparison to the first) might help your health and you decide that the second if your wealth, feel free to post any time.
Know this: we want you to win. Bigly. So do whatever you have to do in whatever order you need to do it to get there.
We are rooting for you! :TDebt: £11,640.02 paid in full! DFD: 30/06/20

It's a crisp bright sunny morning and I really shouldn't be on here. I should be upping my step count to help my health or doing something proactive workwise to make myself less eminently sackable. But I'm grinding my gears over a pathetic trivial incident which is in danger of making the entire day toxic. Hopefully by writing it on here I will be able to see just how irrelevant it is and can move on with my day. Our elderly next door neighbour passed away in March, we had kind of guessed something was up but nobody on the street knew. In July her daughter finally deigned to tell us. And now the house has been sold and slowly the daughter is taking stuff out of the house. Throughout our time (+10 years) living here they have always had a really weird habit of walking over our driveway for no obvious reason to get to the front door, like they are cats trying to mark their terrority. Yesterday the daughter's husband parked his car squarely in front of our driveway, blocking our two cars despite there being plenty of clear space on the street elsewhere. It was so obvious it was not accidential. Had he knocked the door and asked if we minded I would have said no - they are packing up possessions and carting them out - I get that. But three or four times he drove off, and then came back again and blocked us in. Now a very strong part of me wanted to confront this situation. Either through verbal threats or showing a screwdriver in his sidewall but obviously I didn't cos I don't want to set a bad example. So I let it go. But it hasn't gone. I feel like I have rolled over and died. I feel like all the fight has gone out of me and that makes me feel totally pathetic. In conclusion, I'm feeling less of a man because I didn't escalate a trivial situation. And I think this actually is entirely what I am feeling in all aspects of my life - if I'm not fighting the system at work then I'm a failure, if I'm not pushing back then I'm a walkover, if I'm not fighting then I'm a victim. No wonder I can't relax, can't sleep and can't get my weight under control. Hmm.0

My neighbour is so inconsiderate where parking is involved and it makes me fume. When he parks in his driveway, he always leaves the tail hanging out in the street. Neither he nor his visitors, and they are many, everpark outside his house but in front of everyone else’s sometimes blocking driveways. I constantly rant but don’t say anything as it’s easier. Some days you’ve gotta pick the battles that are worth fighting and that you have the energy for.

Your neighbours could be mine. They regularly have 4 cars in the street as well as parking over our drive. Every day my dad goes on and on about it saying "get them to move it" even when I can get in or out - having to listen to that is worse than the problem!! If I genuinely cant get in or out I have to knock and ask them to move. Don't let it bother you - they are going away. Go and enjoy the rest of your day.Aiming to make £7,500 online in 20220
