All I will say is if you choose to fly with them don't expect anything in return.
The only thing O'Leary cares about is himself, not the passengers
That's why we haven't used them is years

For me, I could fly to Spain with Jet2/ Tui or Thomas Cook for £200 or with Ryanair for £50.
Its going to be Ryanair every time.0 -
KLM are in the top 5, I have had more issues with KLM than ryanair, If I was asked ryanair would be above KLM
is the saying lies, damn lies and statistics0 -

This is the point. It’s al well and good Which (and any other organisation) having countless surveys on best and worst.
But when it comes down to it, the vast majorory of passengers will vote with their wallets when it comes to actually booking a flight. So headlines like this are really quite irrelevant!0 -
I never choose Ryanair no matter the price. Horrible airlineI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Quick Grabbit, Freebies, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning and the UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.

Yes it sounds like the questions were mainly about additional fluff like food, drink, seats etc. And CS which you hardly ever need these days. People just use flights to get to a destination, and will choose the airline based on price, timings, convenience etc rather than how good the coffee is.This is the point. It’s al well and good Which (and any other organisation) having countless surveys on best and worst.

Unless you want to take any luggage at all or sit with the people you're flying with.
Ryanair might just about be ok if you're flying alone with just a handbag or wallet, but even then given the amount of cancelled flights over the last few years I wouldn't book with them.
I just booked flights with SAS, Ryanair looked a bit cheaper at first but I wanted hold luggage and extra legroom and by the time those were taken into account SAS were actually quite a bit cheaper, and I know it will be a nicer experience and if the fight's cancelled I might see my compensation sometime before I die!
Oh and of course the airport for Ryanair is 75 miles from the destination city rather than the main airport which is 30 miles away.0 -

.
In my example Jet2. Tui or Thomas Cook all charge for extras, just like Ryanair.
Of course, Ryanair also fly 140 million passengers per year, more than those above combined, so yes they probably get more complaints pro rata.
A bit like comparing Everest with your local window fitter0 -
Stockholm? Blame the airports for that, pretending Nyköping or Västerås are Stockholm airports just because they include Stockholm in the name.Red-Squirrel wrote: »Oh and of course the airport for Ryanair is 75 miles from the destination city rather than the main airport which is 30 miles away.0 -

Oslo, but we all know Ryanair do the same for lots of their destinations.
Other airlines manage to find the right airport, so I blame Ryanair. :cool:0
