As from this week, anybody going to the council tip in my town has to take proof of address with them to stop out of towners using the facility.
What is the point of this? Surely anybody going to a tip is a responsible person, if they go to the tip and forget proof they will get turned away.
Honestly can't understand the mentality behind this idea.
Makes one wonder what out of towners will do when their council closes their tip.
Oh yes, pay a flytipper.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -
