Central Heating in apartments

m unable to post this.. so i request u to please post it..
I have a central heating (gas) in my 2 bed room apartment and there is a thermostat in the living room to control the temperature of the living room only.
So, in living room, radiator is never switched off, it is always on to regulate the temperature, according to thermostat settings.
but if there are 6 other radiators, at different places in the apartment, would it make any difference on the usage of gas (m3), if i switch off 4 out of 6 other radiators ?
or it doesnt make any difference on the bill, even if all 6 are switched on always ?
because as far as i think, if i switch on only 2 out of 6 radiators, then it would definitely reduce costs of gas bill as compared to switching on 6 out of 6 ?
am i wrong here ?

and i m posting a picture of my gas meter, it doesnt display m3 or ft3, it only displays "h" in it.
So, shall i assume it is in m3 ?
bcz i dnt think so it could be in kwh
and i have used 267 units for gas in one month according to this meter reading.

That's not a gas meter. It's just an hours timer.0

16A, 230V, 50Hz?
Sounds like its probably in gallons...
g is closer to h than k, f or m
... or maybe hundreds of cubic feet? :rotfl:0 -

The more radiators switched on - the more gas used!
If that were not the case, it would be possible to heat all 775 rooms in Buckingham Palace for the same cost as heating just one room0 -
https://imgur.com/a/ByVWDNn Looks to be an hour meter, with a circulating pump below. It may be measuring the run time?
You sure you have gas and electric in the apartment? Who supplies / is named on the bills?
It may be some sort of communal / district heating scheme whereby they charge on the basis of how long that pump runs?
But, turning down thermostatic radiator valves to low temperatures or off should minimise the time that you are running that (heating) pump for.0 -

yes this is the case.
and it is hour meter
i have confirmed from the administrator,
he showed me calculations from last year, it was really complex
but it showed that if a person used 600 units in 1 year, he paid 400 euro approx
company is trevi.
my apartment is at top floor, insulation is not as gud as it should be.
so, that is why if i maintain a temperature in living room of 20 degree, it remains switched on for 7 minutes and just switches off for 3 minutes0 -

actually, units are consumed on hourly basis in this case,
so, units remain the same, no matter how many radiators,
but yes, it takes more time to heat living room, if i switch on all radiators
