It's great to see everyone's updates!

#52 here, have posted my update and am now at £15850 :j

I'm amazed how much just being a part of this challenge has spurred me on! I've added a column to my master mortgage spreadsheet to calculate the percentage paid off since January, and it's really motivating me to OP as much as possible.

I've even found myself a little side-hustle to make a bit extra, and it's all going straight off the mortgage! The end really is in sight!

posted my update form - just a smidge under £30,000 left so we are about half way - things will slow noticeably now.

Our interest is under £31 a month so we have tipped under £1 a day interest for some months!

#14 reporting in at $519,852. Cleared $10k since last time and $40k in 6 months. Really pleased with this as also had quite a few expenses. We've got a quiet 3 months planned so hoping to be at 505,000 next time and under 500 by Christmas. Hope everyone else is on track L x

Just sent in my update. I seem very far away even though this is my first update in my new house but I used my spreadsheets to set the figure so it must be correct. I must remember it is a marathon not a sprint!

I am finding that tracking the interest reduction makes me feel better than tracking my reduction through over payments - it also means my repayment that is in my monthly direct debit is more crunchy too
