That's not the issue here as post 4 states a case has been opened to which the buyer has responded.

All Arlenewei's posts so far have been nonsense. Another newbie building up their post count by the look of it.0 -
Don't close the NPB case expecting the buyer to pay, because as another poster mentioned, you can't open a second one. As far as I understand, if the buyer doesn't pay and you don't open an NPB case, then you as the seller will still be charged the insertion fee and final value fee by Ebay. These are only cancelled if you have an NPB. If the buyer does pay, then the NPB is closed automatically. If they don't, then you can close it choosing the option that they haven't paid and you won't be charged the fees.0

Catch - up on my original post.
I closed the NPB case after 5 days as buyer didn't pay.
Just a few queries about buyer. They had 100% positive feedback with no sales feedback.
On looking through their pages there are about 10 identical feedbacks on one page from the same seller saying same thing and have found this repeated on several pages.
As I got into more pages I found several bad red feedback but on the " feedback left for others"where the buyer said seller was rude etc and seller had come back with "no payment and buyer now blocked"
What I am annoyed about is why these negative feedback scores are not shown by ebay and why has buyer got 100% positive score when obviously they haven't.
Also, am I allowed to give feedback and would it make any difference?0 -

You have already answered your own question about whether or not to leave a positive feedback, just read back what you have written!
If a seller goes through the NPB process then feedback buyer gets a strike with 2 of those most sellers will have their seller preferences set to stop the buyer bidding (go and change yours now!). However if seller leaves feedback - positive obviously as that's all sellers can leave, buyer can often get the strike removed.
Also I can't see why anyone thinks Adding positive feedback to a non paying bidders score is a good idea.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. No, I was wanting to leave negative feedback not positive. I think sellers should be allowed to leave negative when a buyer doesn't pay.
Thanks soolin, I blocked buyer when I closed the NPB.
Why has buyer still got 100% good feedback when I found all the negative replies to none payment on their feedback?0 -
I think sellers should be allowed to leave negative when a buyer doesn't pay.
That would not be helpful.
Seller feedback helps you choose which seller to go with.
You don't choose your buyers so would not even know who your buyer was until they won, so feedback is pointless.
The best thing you can do is open a non paying bidder dispute which then gives the buyer a strike if they do not pay. Two strikes and they will find themselves blocked from most auctions.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

About 10 years ago ebay removed the ability for sellers to leave anything other than a positive, some sellers think it is clever to leave comments rather than go through the NPB process and give them a strike.
Don't just block the buyer- go and check your seller preferences to ensure you have blocked anyone who has 2 or more strikes, that is a much better option than relying on feedback.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
