Sending positive vibes for the interview EE.

Re. the prize twit, can only echo everyone else in their opinions. I think you can hear the panic behind his remark to you as he finally realises that his safety net has disappeared into the wide blue yonder.......

  • Thanks everyone for your good wishes, the interview went well and I will find out early this week.

Got my money from Music Magpie, very good service as took them in to the parcel shop on Monday and the money was in my account on Friday.

At the moment none of it has gone to debt as I gave DD her Child Benefit early and needed food etc for this weekend plus my dog with cancer has another infection in her tumour so had to get a course of antibiotics for her. Price has gone from £100 to £150 in 2 months, I asked them to double check the price and then they told me they would prescribe a cheaper one so only paid £65.

STBEXH transferred me £50 in the morning to cover half the cost and I have offered him the rest back but he says to keep it to pay off his debt!!!! (Me thinks he may be on this thread!!!)

    Debt update to follow....
  • Paypal - £667.59 – some on 0% and some at 17.9%
    Halifax - £3149.54 – some at 6.9% and some at 27.7%
Santander - £1098.42 – I think 19.9% but can’t find the info on the website
    Vanquis - £996.31 – I think its 39.9%
    Link - £7031.11 – 0% as defaulted in Jan 2013
    My Son - £700.00 – 0%

    Total - £13642.97

    Total as at 1/2:

    Paypal - £649.64
    Halifax - £3074.45
    Santander - £1097.48
    Vanquis - £936.45
    Link - £7026.11
    My Son - £700.00

    Total - £13484.13

Managed to pay off £158.84 (some of this is because I had made the monthly payment but the statement date is after 1/2 so no interest added, as long as I report like this every month it will even out)
  • Pleased to hear the interview went well EE. Sorry to hear that poor dog has had an infection though. :(. And hooray that the ex has contributed to the cost!:j perhaps he's finally facing up to his responsibilities!

And well done on paying off some of the debt!
