I want a life without failed Direct Debits :-(

  • Hi Diary

Sorry I haven't updated for a few days, it's been abit hectic trying to juggle everything including sorting out car transport etc.

So we went out a bought an old golf, which typically has bought with it it's own set of issues which we are working through now, thankfully alot of it hubby can sort out himself, so he is back and forth to the local scrap yard. At least golf's are common cars so there is plenty of parts at the scrappy.

I have been looking at the bills again this morning. Everyone is jumping up and down for their payments and i think I can make it if we do not eat for the next two weeks :o.

Trouble is the bills are all quite important so its hard to choose who to pay first.

We owe the local garage £352 which I have to pay today as they kindly agreed to wait for this half of the payment until we got paid today. Then I owe the Council Tax £447 who have agreed to wait until the end of Jan for the money but we all know they will hit me hard if I don't pay and then I owe hubby's local building supplies company £550 which i know in debt paying should definitely come at the bottom of the list but hubby doesn't want his credit taken away as he needs it for his work.

Pffffft will be glad to get to February when I will have caught up with everything and can start debt busting properly.

I am completely astounded how I keep doing this year after year and never seem to learn.:mad::mad::mad::mad:

This is the last time it will be like this as you are on to it now, and coming up with a plan.

I am pleased that you have managed to sort out a car, the lovely guy who used to see to my cars mostly managed to find all we needed from the scrapyards too:D

Sending you positive vibes for all the money juggling you need to do, as a lovely lady on these diaries says "keep plodding".

Hi Steph, really great to 'see' you though not to hear how stressed you are.

In terms of moving......what does £350k buy? and would that be enough?would not struggling for money bring you more joy than where you live?

Only you can decide I rather think your small holding will be worth more than you think it is.
