Good morning fellow MMMers
Been offline for a while but have really enjoyed catching up on all of the successful MMMing that's been happening.. You guys really have been busy. I've spent lots of time over the past few months getting to know my sewing machine, and trying to learn how to sew in a straight line . This has been done done by making 4 sets of advent calendar bags and hamper basket liners. I made my first drawstring bag last weekend which was a proud moment for me. I'm going to attempt some clothes alterations soon. Wish me luck,
Make do: used up Christmas tree discards, decorations and holly to make a giant hula hoop wreath.
Mend: radiator cleaning brush handle was glued back on using hot glue gun (I love my glue gun) xxx
Minimise: YS bread and coleslaw for lunch

Hi all
Make do: Had the other potato and cheese pie for dinner tonight and made butternut squash soup from one that was a bit mouldy at one end (I cut that bit off!)
Mend: No mending done today
Minimise: Took shopping list out and stuck to it, (that's a first lol!!). Xmas pressies all bought, except for chocs etc as I may start eating those!
Miss Piggy - I made my first draw string bags a couple of weeks ago to use as project bags. I quite like the look of the round bottom ones, but I just made box bottom ones so my knitting projects would fit in them.

Good evening to all, and happy Friday
Today's efforts:
Make do: food from stores for lunches
Mend: more upcycled/repurposed - throw on beach over shirt, removed side tassels. It now just looks like an oversized thin denim shirt which I will wear with thick woolly tights and boots. The back is a bit longer than the front so I'm going to wear it tomorrow and see how it looks. DD1 is being picked up from uni for Christmas so I'm sure she'll give me her opinion, whether I want it or not lol.
Minimise: nothing today xxx0 -
