Can't help noticing kathrynha that you seem to be having more 'normal' food lately. Have the diet restrictions been relaxed?

A little. Still have to be careful and some food will be on the banned list for life but I can eat reasonably normal with a few tweaks.

That's really good to hear. :)

I don't think you're really 'in the zone' yet FE. If you're still a member and don't have to join again then you could go along and listen to the new member talk to see if it motivates you. That might be worth your fiver.

Last week esmy added a post to the beginning of the thread about SW online. Other than access to syns online, it doesn't seem to offer much that this thread can't provide (and you know we'll always look up syns for you.)

I don't know about nutricheck but no system will work unless you stick with it. What I like about SW is that it's the closest to healthy eating, no starving yourself and syns give a good, easy guide to how many treats you should allow yourself each week. :)

    Evening!

Well done Sirens and Auntycat (and Mrs TalkingDead!) Keep going gainers and maintainers. I suspect I'll be in the latter group this week.

I am writing off today :(- I had a plan for the days meals, none of which I've had, way too many carbs and syns, along with eating at odd times by necessity, which is never good for me. I have always had an odd day like this, so hopefully I can pull it back in the next couple of days. I'll rejig my meal plan and try a couple of speed days before the next weigh in.

    Have a good evening, all.

Bubbs do you use frozen sprouts? I ask because I'm the only one who likes them and buying fresh is a waste.

Just caught up again, had a very busy weekend.
Had to go for a family birthday meal but had a shared starter, chicken kebab and asked for larger salad and not chips, no pudding, so was very pleased with myself. There was a cake but I insisted I could only share a piece with SIL who is also on SW.

Pleased to have done three 5k runs last week, but want to try and do some toning DVD's this week. I like the 30 day shred, done it today so a good start.

Weighed in on Friday and am pleased with a 1lb loss it wasn't a full week, so that'll do.

Well done everyone on the losses.
    :T:T:T well done
DISASTER! don't know how I put on a 1lb but I managed it even though I was on plan and dedicated.

I ate the same as my wife, in same quantity, she managed 7 1/2lb in her first week and I'm so impressed and proud, I managed to put on but considering that my wife did so well, its eased the pain I'm so chuffed for her.

Oh well onto the coming week ahead my week this week, would be happy with 3lb off.
Dont give up, its annoying i know, well done to your wife:T:T

Suffolksue, remember to look after yourself as well as your DH. I’m glad he’s ok.

Brilliant losses, Pollyanna and SIRENS. Well done, AuntyCat.

Good to see you’re back in the groove, Stoke.

As for me, I had a massive 0.2lb loss; that’s right - about a quarter of a pound, ha ha. Oh well, better off than on, and not unexpected. Like Stoke, I’m feeling more ‘up for it’ this week.
Breakfast: scrambled eggs on hexb toast
Lunch: noodles, chicken, sugar snaps, syboes, cherry tomatoes, hm Anzac biscuit (no idea of syns but I only had ½ syn today otherwise)
Dinner: tomato & mixed pepper pasta, jelly (½ syn)

    Snack: hexa cheese & grapes

    A loss is a loss:T:T:T

Any advice on what flavoured yogurts I should spend my syns on?
I want ones that aren’t loaded with sugar - happy to spend a few syns on them & go low fat rather than fat free to get ones not loaded with crap.

I'm in two minds about going to group this week. Part of me thinks I want to give it a miss for a bit and try something else (either nutracheck) or a combination of nutracheck / sw from home.

I have thought about sw online membership but I'm not sure I'll have the commitment to stick to it.

Part of me wonders if I should still go to group to weigh but not bother with the image therapy. I do know the plan so this isn't (staying to group and the going round the room bit) so important to me for the time being but it seems a bit daft to pay £4.95 just to weigh and run. What would you do?
While i was getting to target i stayed religiously every week, i would stay now if my group was on the same day and same location but as its not i go and weigh on sat morn a couple of times a month and try and get to my group at least once a month, but in honesty i do miss it, it keeps me on track

No fresh, but use frozen if i am making b&s out of season, but we don't tend to have them as a veg out of season, i have seen you can get them in a tin now
