many thanks for the chart.Sorry forgot to say sts[/on Saturday .
Quite relieved as last week was v stressful with potentially bad news re DH health.
This week we are having a mini break to Bournemouth (was already booked) nice not having to cook but very hard as it is bringing home to both of us just how quickly DH is becoming more disabled .
Back Friday ,so will face the music Sat am .

Well done to all the losers

  • Hi all

I've been here before but fell off the SW wagon for quite some time. Surprise, surprise, I am back where I started, weight wise. What a fool I am, will I ever learn????

I'd like to join the next challenge and for now am happy to read and update weekly.

    Welcome back Lioness Twinkletoes.

    v1ckyt I wouldn't call a 1.5lb loss slow! That's what I lose on a good week! Usually it's only 0.5lb or 1lb - that is slow!

    Today's plan:

B - scrambled eggs with mixed herbs on toast
L - 2 pea soup - dried peas, frozen petit pois, onion, garlic, potato, root ginger & water
    D - steak, chips, mushrooms & onions

A bit short on Speed today but will make it up a bit with some fruit for snacks.

    HEA1 - milk in drinks; HEA2 - nothing
    HEB - bread
Syns - wholegrain mustard 1; Actimel 0% 1.5; not sure if I'll have anything else

I am thinking of making Diet Cola Chicken tonight. Can I make it in a casserole? I am sure when I made it ages ago I did it in a pan but am in and out a bit this afternoon so a casserole would be better.

Pennylane I've not made it in a casserole but see no reason why it wouldn't work as I've done it in my slow cooker many years ago when I was still working! I actually used a whole chicken to make it rather than pieces which I think probably works better in the SC.

I've actually never done it in a pan!

I've bought a countdown at class this week so I'm *determined* to make an effort. My menu for today is as follows:

Breakfast: Hot cross bun (allowing 10.5 syns) (I bought the buns before I decided about the countdown so not the best breakfast choice to be honest).

    Lunch:

Coop prawn salad (need to confirm syns) but think 6.5

    snack if hungry: pineapple

Tea: is the Iceland slimming world chips, button mushrooms, salad and steak.

    Treat: undecided. Hopefully nothing.

I've not had a B option today. I wondered whether to avoid having a B option today in lieu of the hot cross bun I've had?
