Evening all.
Late visit tonight so just want to say well done to all the losers. Those disappointed with small losses (1/2 or 1lb) have a look at that much butter - that's the fat you've lost!
Today's menu was a bit all over the place, because I'm busy painting the kitchen and wondering why I ever started....
B none
L Ready made John West tuna thing, which I've since discovered is way more synful than I thought,:( apple
D Chicken Fajitas with salad and cous cous, yoghurt
So, low on speed and high on syns. Will do better tomorrow!0 -
It's looking to be another bright day today - is Spring finally on its' way? Temperatures are definitely on the up.
It's going to be a bit of a "use it up" day today:
B - Welsh rarebit - cheese, mustard powder, egg yolk, Worcester sauce
L - Hard boiled egg, cooked chicken, ham, HM coleslaw, salad - mixed leaves, cucumber, cherry tomatoes will dress it with some balsamic vinegar (1 syn for LTL mayo)
D - Cottage pie - 5% beef mince, onions, garlic, celery, grated carrot, potatoes. Will have with some green beans and cabbage
HEA1 - milk in tea throughout the day
HEA2 - 30g cheddar
Syns - LTL mayo 1; Actimel 0% strawberry 1.5. Not sure what else but may have a hifi this evening if I want something 3
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning all,
Had the evening out after work yesterday, then home to prep for my review at work today (do I give the boss some home truths or not - that’s my dilemma!) so had no time to ch ck in with you guys.
Yesterday’s meal plan:
B - banana, satsuma
L - porridge with water, splash milk & sugar (1)
D - sw chow mein
Snack - banana
Today’s plan should be:
B - banana, satsuma
L - porridge with apple (1.5)
Snack - apple
D - sainsb bgty sausages (3), mash, carrots, cabbage, broccoli, gravy (2)
I think I am correct with the sausages being 1 syn each?
Reporting -2lb loss this week. Really want to lose another two to break through the next stone barrierOne day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

sary - yes the BGTY sausages are 1 syn each.
It doesn't look to me that you eat enough! I think I'd be really hungry if I only had fruit during the day plus porridge!

Mine should read 10lb loss. There was another week when I lost 1lb.
Hi Penny  Does it look OK now? I'm presuming that you WI on a Saturday, but post here on Monday - is that right? As Bubbs said this is last weeks chart.
At that point you had lost 9 lbs?
Spot on again beanieChris will update when she does the chart
All done (correctly I hope :rotfl:)0 -
Hi Denise,
I often have other food planned, but I struggle to have time to eat at work.
For example yesterday I left work to go to an appointment I had to travel to just after my lunch. I took my porridge (hot) with me in the car and ate it 45mins later when I parked up. I had an apple, banana and tub of yogurt with sliced apple to eat if I got hungry while out, but I only had time to eat the banana after the appointment, before I nipped into the shop on my way home. Then last night after I'd eaten dinner I was preparing paperwork for a meeting I had this morning.
My main issue is that I cannot face eating much before 11am. I feel sick if I even try, always have, which is why I have often relied upon rounds of toast for lunch & snacks of chocolate and crisps in the past. I go into work before 8.30, and my lunchtime isn't necessary a full break, more eating at my desk at around 1.30pm. Dinner is usually at about 7.30pm, which is always a decent sized meal. I've never been an evening snacker though, so don't have anything more than a couple of cups of tea after that. My weight gain hasn't always been down to volume of food, but more the poor choice of foods, so perhaps calorie dense as opposed to filling.
Ironically today, because I have the yogurt in my office fridge to eat up, I have managed to squeeze in the yogurt after my porridge today :T Thanks for the observation though, I really do appreciate your helpOne day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Thanks Chris for the chart.
I think everyone has done really well.

That's a whole person we've lost.:rotfl::T

That sounds quite difficult to manage Sary. I'd really struggle if I didn't eat regularly. Breakfast can be anytime from 7am - 9am depending on what time I get up! Lunch is usually around 12.30pm and dinner around 6 - 6.30pm, very occasionally 7pm, but that's usually when we eat out, which doesn't happen very often!
Well done The Talking Dead on being our SOTW this week.
