Not one today, but should be the only spendy day this week0

A no spend yesterday takes me to 4 but alas today is another spend day
Has anyone got any ideas to help? I buy a weekly shop but then wake up the next day finding I need something meaning I cant avoid a spend day. I've done lists and stuck to them, and its usually non grocery items that make me go out again. Any advise would be brilliant!January Grocery Challenge £71.51/£150.00 48% spent!
February Grocery Challenge £79.83/£112 71% spent!
March Grocery Challenge £0.00/£93.00 0% spent!

I have a list of things we generally need weekly (groceries) and then things we should need monthly (toiletries, household things) and check those before I finish the shopping list for the week, and determine whether they need to go on the list or they can wait0 -
Spent but counting it as NSD because it was needed groceries (Ran out of bread + almost out of milk for tomorrow):heartpuls Getting married 21.09.19 :heartpuls
