Hi I dont know about the exclamation mark in the email but as mentioned its one hell of a confusing email.
  • I know you are miffed at the credit reference agencies, but its not their fault. One of you siblings has caused a CIFAS marker to be needed, and as you all share the same name it has caused problems.

I would agree with others about changing your name, that would be my no1 priority right now.
  • Thanks dealer wins. Honestly I am seriously considering it. 1 step at time im going to get it sorted. Could there be a possibility when cifas write to me and say it's not actually me. Because when i did the Sat request they obviously asked for ID off me. Meaning they could check data base against my full details and say it's not me. Just asking?
  • You need to wait for CIFAS to come back to you now.

    Nothing more

Hi guys. Cant sleep with each day passing by and the mess I am in. 2 out 3 credit reference agencies have apologised to me (experien and call credit) equifax still a battle as people I speak to do not have any idea of what i am trying to say. A brick wall would have more response. One of the complaints managers from callcredit mentioned that it's a strong possibility that cifas marker could be linked to an address and a sibling of mine under the same surname and all are getting flagged. Furthermore it could be that because my reports are incorrect it has caused the cifas marker to be registered due to a member organisation thinking I am concealing information such as debt and addresses which are related to my brothers. I know I have asked but could do with some kid person sharing their view on this. I also know I have to wait for this dreadful letter from cifas. My heart sinks as just seen the job i was offered re-advertised. Honestly I have seen so many forums on cifas where something has been caused by individual concerned to warrant this marker but honestly not done one thing I can think of for this to happen. Sometimes I think what a fraud I have committed for which i don't know what it is and I certainly havent benefited from it. Beinf sarcastic but seriously dissappointed. Thanks to all in advance

No confusion as I read it. It explains the banks position and opens the door to you apply for employment with them in the future if you get the CIFAS issue resolved / removed.
