So have managed to scrape through a friend bought me fuel (I give him lifts a lot) so I didn't need to buy any and my mum had to lend me £5 for my SW this week (lost 2.5LB).

So strict meal plan this week! Only buying what I NEED when I do shopping tomorrow. Have got a meal out this week so will keep that money to one side and will also put SW money to one side so I don't spend it again this week!!

  • Had a big test for me this week, spent the day in town with my dad and son while mum was having her hair coloured. We looked around shops and I picked a few things up that I would normally just buy because I liked them and put them back! I only spent 90p on a bottle of drink (dad treated us to lunch). So for me that was a massive win. I probably saved around £40ish by reining myself in!

Last night we went for a meal for dad's birthday, saved money by ordering tap water instead of coke and skipped a course to save £5 and some lb going on!

I have got my food shopping for the week plus some extra YS meat that I bought with Tesc0 vouchers that I've put in my freezer that'll make another 6 meals!! :D Although have just realized I did not get my chicken out for dinner tonight so will have to be salad and a jacket potato instead haha.

Even said to my dad on Thursday that I am now learning the value of money. The sad thing is if I had done this before I would have money saved up now and not be in debt!

    Still plodding along.
Managed to save another £5 this week using M0rrisons vouchers to buy some more fruit and salad bits to eat as I've been eating a lot lately due to SW.
Lost 4lb this week at SW so only 0.5LB off my 7lb award! Aiming for that this week.
Am going out with a friend this weekend so have been scrolling through Groupon and found a deal at F&B for £19.99 for 2 people, 2 course meal so will be getting that!

Only downside this week is that I had a bill from BG for when I moved into my house. Apparently I managed to spend £90 on gas and leccy (for 20 days, 10 of those I wasn't even in the house......) I asked to do a payment plan ad £90 is a lot of money just to hand over but they said that it would affect my credit score for the next 3 years!! So I told them I would pay it on my CC so dad is giving me that tomorrow to pay that bill off.

Fancied a takeaway last night and know my cards are saved on JE so I saved myself there as well.

Just read through your diary, well done on paying towards your CC and being a good mum to your son! Good on your dad helping you out as well.

Can you query the BG bill, did you take a meter reading when you moved in?

I've got loads of debt, have been borrowing on credit cards and loans and paying it back and borrowing again for 20 odd years! Still learning my lessons...

    Thank you!!

I did question it, but they said thats what it is. Unfortunately I didn't take a reading because it has a smart meter I thought it all got saved on there. They told me it doesn't :(

Aw no that's not fair....the previous people in the property should have given a reading when they left, but maybe not?

Well done on the SW loss, you're doing great :)
