  • Having an up and down day but good on the money front as a cheque arrived now refunding me for some direct debits which were taken after my contract ended. I will take it to the bank on Friday, but sent the £46.40 straight to the debt.

    2019 1% challenge #18= 16.1%

Ending January on 16.1%. I have a few more cash back type things coming in February but then I think it's just down to me not spending. I think I should be able to hit 25% by the end of Feb.

  • Please could I join? I have never done this before. I don't have much debt, just a loan from family (no interest, very flexible about when to pay it back) of £3000, but I am more concerned about the fact that I have quite a good income but have no savings. I used to, but two international moves in a year and having to visit family in other countries regularly plus knowing that I am moving countries again this year (for the final time and to a place with easier access to most family) have put paid to that. On top of that every country works differently and I have had to get to know how different countries banks work. So I would like to build up savings again, in a savings account so that I don't fritter it away and to earn some interest.

So MediumDIno aiming for a round £10000. 1% is 100.
