I'd be happy with that too.  I was comfortable at size 14 and can't imagine myself ever being any smaller than that, but I'd be happy just to be in the teens :D

  • Ha ha me too. A size that starts with a 1 rather than a 2 would be fabby.
I’m getting cost after cost just now! Having to pay to get netting on my roof as I have solar panels and we are overrun with pigeons. They are pooing everywhere and we cannot get peace for them. Gutters needed cleaned as well.
Never mind. At least they will be done and I can stop worrying about any damage that pigeons are causing my house 🤷🏼‍♀️

  • I had a lovely albeit expensive weekend milann. I hope you had a nice time too.
Well my finances have been turned on their head again. My dd is trying to buy a flat. She’s 27 and was moving in with her bf. Unfortunately ( fortunately as far as I’m concerned 🙄) the relationship has ended. He has obviously walked away with his half of the deposit. I have now borrowed money on my home to help her out. This is for a few reasons. Firstly to help her move out. Secondly, I borrowed enough to put in a downstairs loo as I intended doing that when I retire anyway and decided I may as well do it now and just pay off the balance when I retire. I also need her out of the house so that lovely man can move in. Please don’t anyone read that as I’m rushing her out as I am not but she has the opportunity to buy a fab wee flat in a private sale which will circumvent the whole bidding war thing that is going on just now. It’s all a bit scary to be honest as we have also booked our wedding. Lovely man has however reassured me that he will be helping a lot with finances which should mean I can continue to overpay and at least have my CC debts gone in a couple of years. My head is a wee bit fried just now but I’m sure I will work it all out as I go along xx

Fingers crossed for the flat! And the wedding :)
We had netting put around the solar panels end of February (I rmemeber because a big part of my Feb salary went towards it) and it is getting better. The man installing them said it will take up to 4 until they all go, but we still have a few coming to visit during the day. The amount of poo has decreased considerably but it took about 2 months for them to actually leave.
    01.12.2020 - CC £16,839 / Loan £18,820 / EF £0
    03.07.2023 - CC (0%) £9,859 / Loan £0 / Savings £10,110
  • Thanks jokono. I think my son expected instant results ha ha. They are so noisy !!! I haven’t had a long lie in months because of them 😂.
