I haven't received my card either yet, I think there are some post delays as I've got a few things outstanding. How silly is that job interview, the world gone mad. I have a needle felting starter kit but not sure if I want to learn another craft, I already have too much clutter with my hobbies, you should see the state of my desk :rotfl: Enjoy your time in London, sounds great.

How lovely! I haven't had anything yet but do have that very design on my mantelpiece! Managed to frame and wrap the Pretty Maids piece for my sister as swooped gifts yesterday. Phew!
Not going to be doing any crafts now until New Year but have made a list of sorts for 2020. Will be good to cross off some designs I've had for a while.

    Hi all,
Just a quick update to say my Christmas piece from Aileen has arrived as has your bonus one to me nmm - and they are identical!!! What are the chances?? Both gorgeous and very much thought and effort has gone into them so I'm thrilled. Thank you nmm and please pass on my thanks to Aileen if that's okay. I'm out at a friends this evening for a pre-Christmas catch up so will properly post over the next few days as would like to put up photos of my framed three little ladies and also the Christmas pieces I have received.
    Have a good evening all,

I've also decided on my next project, its The Junction by John Clayton. The design contains petite stitches which I had to google as i'd never heard of them before, its like 4 mini crosses per cross stitch square, going to use Evenweave as it will be easier than Aida.

    Morning everyone!
Lovely finishes nmm and the new project is gorgeous - a very tranquil scene. I think you're right to use evenweave with the petite stitches. Not sure my old eyes would cope, even with my magnifier lamp!
I am 'working from home' today as one boss is off and the other only in the office until noon. I need to collect mum later and she's a 40 min drive away. Don't want to be on the road too late.
I hope FoS received her Christmas card - if you're reading along FoS please let us know xx
I will start a new thread in between Christmas and the new year. I have a list of sorts for 2020. Nothing with a deadline (thank goodness) so just projects for me to get on with. I went to the gym last night and watched some tv but was itching to start something new. Not the right time for it, given I still haven't wrapped gifts for my children or my mum!
I hope all who read along and contribute have a wonderful Christmas. Relax, enjoy and have happy times with your loved one. Thoughts and prayers to those missing someone special.

Coxy, your three little ladies are framed perfectly, well worth the money.

Just popping in to say Happy Christmas. No sewing for me, tripped over, put right arm out to break my fall - and fractured my shoulder. Been in a sling for 6 weeks now, back to fracture clinic in January.
