I have 3 finished projects still to frame, I have the frame for 1 of them need to buy the other 2. Motivation is severely lacking some days :rotfl: I do have a fun trip to Edinburgh Christmas Market on Saturday to look forward too, no time for stitching as we leave around 6.30am and won't return till about 8.30pm.Cross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:0

Quick exchange update, I posted my card earlier in the week and it was received safely :T Oh and I didn't get back from Edinburgh till 9.45pm but it was a great day out. No stitching done at all for the last few days as been crocheting some items, but finished them so back to some more Christmas cards. :xmassmileCross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:0

Helloooooo!!
Sorry for lack of posting. Glad you enjoyed the Edinburgh markets nmm and well done for posting your Christmas exchange piece. I finished mine last night so will be sending today.
I have a day's leave today as have a dental check up and boiler being serviced. The dreaded UTI is still with me so I'm now on ABs
Will collect mum later and we will go to nephews grave to lay flowers - he would have had a birthday tomorrow. Need to get DS2 to a meal out with friends later at nearest large shopping mall. Will take advantage of the two hours or so to do some shopping as I've bought very little so far and we are due to see family next weekend aaargh.
Hoping to shop locally tomorrow for some little bits and bobs then need to commence the wrapping. Used to love doing it and all the anticipation, now not so much!
Very cold this week in Kent and due snow at the end of the week - great

Thinking of you tomorrow Coxy, hope you find some nice items when you go shopping and yay to the snow, I prefer it to this dreaded rain :snow_grinCross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:0

Good morning all,
I have a day off today - got a spa day voucher for my 50th so taking my newly single neighbour for a bit of pampering.
I posted my card on Friday 1st class. Nmm - I wonder if you could advise when they have been received as I'm not on FB. FoS sent hers on 2 December so would be good to know it arrived safely, thank you xx
I visited my framer on Friday and had him cut a black mount to size for the sheep cross stitch. The shop bought one looked a bit pants. I need it ready for Sunday as seeing family and exchanging gifts then, so need to get a frame this week and finish it off.
No project currently on the go as we are painting the kitchen(!) I have my Christmas pieces out though and will be contemplating my list for next year
Hope all are well.

I shall check facebook later on and enquire who has received their cards. Chicky received mine, jcs1 fell and broke her arm so will be delayed till January but informed her recipient, I think a few others are running late this year. A spa day sounds wonderful, not sure if I could get my OH to go with me one :rotfl:Cross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:0

Your latest make is lovely. I'm not working on anything just now as have the delight of interviewing for my own job tomorrow - and I'm the only candidate which is ridiculous, but heigh ho. I'm staying up to watch the GE tonight as I work for the civil service so it will be interesting to see what happens next....
Tomorrow night DH and I are at the movies and then we have a meal out in London on Saturday and panto and meal out with the wider family on Sunday. Oh and the SCD final of course
Must have a think about a list for next year. I have some felting kits which might have to make an appearance lol.
