Spent a while lifting boxes of stuff up to upstairs cupboard as I can't wait forever for light to be fitted. It's stuff that should be sorted through - some of it has, some of it hasn't but it's in boxes and out of my bedroom floor.0 -

Friday was mostly dry - it only started to rain when I finally got around to running errandsmy own fault as I did faff around :rotfl: (this time last year we were having a heatwave :T - I am halfway through reading 2018 Decluttering thread :rotfl:) DSis spent most of the day in her room after having a long soak in the bath :rotfl: DH went to W*ckes to pick up some new flooring for the hallway & cloakroom. I dropped off the cs bits & pieces - very lucky timing as the cs clothing shop was being closed early
& the cs was open. No opportunity to look around as the cs was completely full of furniture - at least I saved my pennies :rotfl: Then went to MrA & did a fairly large shop including a big tray of chicken breasts & a very large joint of beef. Bus home (the shopping was rather heavy
) & everything put away. Chopped out the iffy bits of chicken & put in the fox’s food tray - bagged up & labelled 2/3rds of the chicken & put in freezer + created 3 smaller joints of beef & froze 2. Had chicken fried in butter with mushrooms, mash & sweetcorn - delicious 🤤
Will get DH to make cheesey pasta tomorrow & we will have the remaining joint of beef as part of a full roast dinner on Sunday.
I phoned the bank & paid my credit card bill & have been doing paperwork on & off all afternoon.
1803 - 1816 Milk carton, 2 drinks cans, empty beer bottle, food tin, 2 large cardboard boxes, medium cardboard box, 4 x cardboard packaging, 24 page booklet (read), 0.5” paperwork - Recycled

Thanks for that Cherryfudge :T & Well Done on the decluttering :T especially the hair :rotfl:
Well Done Cazzatheclutterbug :T You ARE going to heaven - training the next generation not to put so much store in having lots of possessions :rotfl: In 50 or 60 years time, when you have shuffled off this mortal coil, your DDS will be thanking you for not having tons of clutter :rotfl:
Your bedroom will truly be a haven :T but do not forget the lock :rotfl: Very Well Done on the weight loss :T You are decluttering on all fronts

The only positive for having them together is that the mOT only cost £25 instead of £45, so a £20 saving.

Well done Savvy. It must be a massive weight off your shoulders.
Yesterday I took a bag for rags to the CS where iwork. I bought back a soft toy to wash and return to sell, a couple of good scarves, christmas jumpers to be washed and go back in winter. 2 DVDs. 1 for me and 1 for DD to help her with her driving theory. Both will make their way back there eventually.
Also yesterday DS2 took a bin liner of his clothes back to his place. He still has two to go. He also took his deep fat fryer which arrived with him last year. I never used it once. :T
Today the massive Welsh style dresser I bought on holiday arrived. This has bought on a flurry of clearing out into bags and boxes. Nothing will be going in or on it that we haven't agreed on.I am so very happy with this piece of furniture although it is what is known as 'rustic' it is perfect for me. :j
So now the dresser is here I can start sorting out the innumerable bags and boxes of stuff including the spare room of doom. I have a plan that by the end of the year all of the house will be clutter reduced if not clutter free.Wife, mother, gardener, nurse, Big C survivor. The sun had his hat on today :j & dans le ciel bleu :T Very warm but there was also a stiff breeze so a perfect day to wash & dry our bedding. However, as a hedge against the weather changing, I decided to remake the bed with our 2nd set of summer bedding. I previously said I was rereading last year’s decluttering thread & it clearly stated that I had kept 2 sets of summer bedding & 1 set of winter bedding & having been brutal, I donated the rest to either CS or the local city farm. So stepped onto my 2 step ladder & emptied the airing cupboard shelf into the arms of my DHin search of the 2nd set of summer bedding. Now - no sniggering at the back - it would appear that I had been more brutal than I thought :rotfl: only 1 set of summer bedding was to be found & that was in the wm
:rotfl: Now look into my crystal ball 🔮 - I see a shopping trip in my future - 2 sets of summer bedding & the current set donated to the cs (don’t really like it
) However, the day got better & better :T Sun continued to shine & the bedding is dry. Spent a bit of time gardening with DH - he replanted the gladioli into deeper holes whilst I staked a couple of tomato plants. Then he cut the tall branches off the olive tree & shredded the branches - assisted by DSis. DH then cleaned & sharpened all the garden tools whilst I went shopping. I walked by the dock to get to sm & was in seventh heaven :rotfl: Canada Geese with 5 large fluffy goslings, a mallard with 4 teeny tiny fluffy ducklings, 3 Egyptian Geese, a solitary tufted duck, a solitary swan, coots & more mallards. Fortunately I had a full pot of seeds, so spent 10 minutes feeding the water fowl. Arrived at MrA & was lucky enough to find a trolley that didn’t need a coin :T. Shelves & freezer cabinets were somewhat empty but managed to find everything except the fish that my DSis likes
I was then waiting at the checkout & got chatting to the lady in front of me about what to do with flat leaf parsley (I have a ‘triffid’ parsley plant :rotfl:) & she advised chop finely, with spring onions, cucumber & ginger then add to tomatoes & lettuce etc. as part of a salad. Left the sm & was fortunate enough to be able to pass the trolley to a gentleman who couldn’t find a coin - reminded me of that film Pay It Forward
Arrived at the bus stop as all the bs numbers left  however it was serendipitous as the driver of the bus I caught was excellent - smooth driving, waited until elderly people were seated, spotted people running for the bus & pulled in & waited for them. Shopping put away, mug of coffee in the garden in the sunshine. Then hm fish’n’chips’n’peas. The street light is out :j DSis fed Mrs Fox. Washing up done but bed not yet made
. All in all a grand day

Today I have a ton of "clutter" going to CS
, they would not pick up all
, so are sending two different vans for the collection, 1 for large items and 1 for the rest, boxes etc. Of course as soon as van leaves I will find more to start new collection :rotfl:
Need to pop into mum's for a quick - "do I want this" before van arrives to take the treasures to CS as being helping declutter at mum's as well.
All in all a very busy day for me, so let's see what can be achieved, so need to be super organised :eek:Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -
