  • Ah, yes... I'm slugging out the dreaded time until my holiday at the end of this month and then it's work hard until the end of the year at least time. Gotta reach them goals, eh?

Nice to see your monthly update. Perhaps I should do a similar thing from this month onwards...

The coffee thing made me laugh. I get it as there are definitely grades of free coffee :)

Steps 16100 - 10k walk this morning and hopefully tomorrow
    Not Veggie - another curry!
    MSD - weekend shopneede
Weight: - light breakfast and lunch, and a low cal meal planned for this evening

clean / fix - dish wash and laundry - out on the line. maybe some ironing later
save/make - not a lot today - basically did mywalk - had a coffee in the garden and spent the afternoon listening to the test match - which I suppose was money saving
I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine
  • One of my favourite meals is whipping up a quick vegan curry with either chickpeas, beans or lentils! Because you don't have to cook meat, you can do it super quick with tinned stuff! Haha. Just, y'know, if you wanted to go veggie for a meal. ;)

How is the healthier lifestyle going?

Just made a yellow split pea and kale curry. Next time I might use tinned pulses instead. Thanks for the reminder.

sounds lovely might have a go next time curry is on the menu

another 10k walk this morning, but set off a bit too quickly so was a bit slow by the end. but 14K steps by 11am is good, and after I've sat and listened to the cricket for a bit I have some gardening to do which will add a few more

That sounds absolutely delicious. I may just make something similar, now! Haha. And hey, if it's dried peas and the like, it's probably cheaper if you have the time to spend a bit longer.

Steps 15100- ended up working rather than gardening, and the cricket was particularly demotivating!
Not Veggie - but building up to try 2 vegan days this week (thanks Alicia)
LSD - nearly made it, but of all things we had run out of beans (normally have dozen tins to spare) so had to get some jacket filling from Mr T
Weight - reasonably healthy today. Except a nice cornetto like thing mid afternoon

clean / fix : just a dishwash - and a little putting everything back where it should be session

save/make : was checking my mobile contracts and noted that I could get my DD2 the same SIM only deal she is on now for a 10% discount at the cost of committing for 12 months rather than 1 month

steps - on my watch 1100, but I left it charging all day and must have done at least another 2000 - even so not a big day
not veggie - meal plan said meatloaf which was nice - with some left over for my lunchbox tomorrow
NSD - rare but getting in the zone - put all my change in jars so no charity box snacking
Weight - again quite healthy today - no extras apart from a cornetto which I couldn't resist even though its a bit cooler today

clean/fix something - helped OH who is having a bit off a blitz in the lounge

save/make - more support to DS2 who now has another session with the CAB and then the UC people. I think this is so they will accept he is off work but the forms are so opaque
