I've given up. Popped in local this morning (which still has loads of stock), and obviously it hadn't gone to 70%. I did fine packs of Halloween stick on nails in the clearance shelf for a £1 a pop though, and they went through the till as buy one, get one half price, so effectively 75p each

Popped into my local earlier...still aisles and aisles of stuff, things I hadn't even see before so I wonder if they've had a delivery or clear out. It honestly looks like they've just stocked for Christmas except for things being a bit more higgildy on some shelves.
.....I then picked up a couple of bargains in Superdrug who have just done their final reductions by the look of it. Got a travel mug for 99p ....save the planet n all that.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Went into a Superdrug today asked the price of a sanctuary gift set £60 reduced to £40 so not a great reduction0

I was in Church Street (Liverpool) branch today and although it's a pretty smallish store, there was still absolutely tonnes of sale stock. Probably 6 aisle sides full, if not more. My husband was amazed they had so much still available after Christmas! I had to explain the whole ethos of the sale to him - that I think people just know to expect further reductions now so don't want to buy it at 50%. This whole spiel of "it's selling so well at 50% that they won't reduce more" is a load of nonsense! Nobody is buying anything!0

At this rate they may as well just leave it out for this Christmas....perhaps that's the new strategy, saves having to merchandise the aisles in Sept :rotfl:Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
