I have mentioned the plastic packaging issue to Boots at press events many a time... it's free advice from a vegan... Best gift for a vegan for Christmas, or the best I've received, is fruit trees (or food!) Some of Boots' range is actually vegan though, and some of the ranges they stock state they're vegan - just not as much as, say, Superdrug!

Is it just me or its very late for the gift sets to be at 50% still? I remember they reduced them to 70% a fortnight ago in previous years?

Just walked through one of our boots stores.. and instead of having all the sales items in one place. They have spread them throughout the store on end aisles. Never known them do that before most odd. I guess it may stop people hoarding to one area. There was actually nothing I want to pick up in that store :0 I really think this will be the first year in um 10 years maybe I'm not overly bothered about going or not. Lol good luck to those who are though, hope you get some fab bargains.

didn't do it last year as there was nothing I needed (or even wanted), and weren't good for the gifts i give to

this year is slightly better cos there is one, maybe two items

when they used to do the 75% sale there was a far better range and tbh better stuff to be buying so would get 10ish items (which compared to some is quite restrained lol)

Definitely late. It used to be around the 14th - 16th until a few years ago. Now seems to get later and later every year.
