I’m sure people who pass boots on way to work will still linger ,,, hopeful that this is a scam to the rest of us ,, thus more bargains to themselves,,,,,,
Can’t say I blame them , I don’t pass boots on way to work , so I had a lay in !!

It REALLY is very different this year. I’ve not done the sale in a couple of years as not had the budget to. Was so excited I could actually do it this year. Did my reccy yesterday and now still in bed wondering if I should dash down there just in case!
After much searching this is definitely the only thread on the forum so I can only imagine there’s been a separate fb group set up? That’s the only explanation for a thread that’s only 7 pages long! Lol.

Hopefully someone might be kind enough to post here if it IS on today and I’ll dash down. Won’t get the bargains I wanted but hopefully might be a few bits left. (Would take me 20 mins to get there/park etc). Good luck if it is today and people grab some bargains. I’m half convinced announcement yesterday was a double bluff! Lol. U never know.

Hi guys!

I have a friend who walked past Boots about 5 mins ago to check for me and everything is still at 50%! Gutted I even took time off work for this :eek:

I think the problem is that it’s such a well known sale now with national newspapers reporting on it that not many people buy in the 50% sale waiting instead for it to go down to 70%.
Gone are the days when there were only a few of us in boots when it opened on 70% day. I used to see the same faces every year

I walked past at 8:25 this morning, there were maybe half a dozen people stood outside, all the 50% signs were still up.
