Well folks I hit my 100 miles on Tuesday evening :j that's since 1st October so I'm very pleased with that :) think I'll go for either 125 or 150 miles in November. RAYP do a different medal each month so I'll at least have something other than worn out shoes to show for it :rotfl:

Just as well I can use nhs discount in some shops so buying replacement trainers isn't going to be *too* painful :rotfl:

In fact, as of right now I'm on 123 miles for this month so next month will be 150 :D

I upped my mileage to 150 this month and I hit that too :j I submitted my evidence to RAYP on Saturday at 161 miles and I've walked another 20 miles since so it's possible that I'll hit 200 miles by the end of the month :j

My lovely shiny medal is on its way :D

I've opted for 150 miles in November. December I'll probably go for 100 miles because I'm off over Christmas and new year so won't be walking so much.

Still not losing any weight though :rotfl: my sleep has improved massively and the inches are starting to come off but I would quite like to see movement on the scales too!

In January I set my target miles to 1750 (based on achieving 1500 last year).

I achieved that in October, so decided to up my target to 2000 miles and I achieved that last week. My current total is 2034.66 miles. I'm delighted with that, 2000 miles seemed impossible for me in January!

I hope everyone achieves all they wanted this year.

    Merry Christmas

With a couple of weeks left of this year I need to do an update to see if I will or wont reach target.

    Back soon.

  • My weekly stats since last update:

    30.76

    35.77

    39.99

    34.44

    28.75

    34.26

    33.79

    32.66

Gives me 270.42 miles to add to my 1,711.89 = 1,982.31

Oooh so close!! Need 36.69 to reach target. :T

Unless I am wiped out with the flu that seems to be doing the rounds, I will certainly beat my target which Im really pleased about.

Although my weekly miles arent as good as I would have hoped, in the last few months, I have really upped my classes at the gym with a variety of weight bearing classes, aerobic type classes and my favourite step class. Hope to carry this on into the New Year and get to the point where I dont ache all over.

I haven't met any targets this year and gave up running for good, but I have kept moving with dancing and walking and weigh less than I did. Will be taking up Nordic walking in the new year once I have my poles from Father Christmas.
Spend less now, work less later.
  • Well done on the weight loss jazee and its great you have kept moving. :j
