BW Legal & Britannia. They are irritating me now.

Options
Like many others recently, I've received a batch of threat-o-grams from BWL in relation to Britannia parking charges. They are getting a bit tiresome, so I've decided to have some fun with them.

As before, my situation is a little different to most on here as i work with a large fleet of leased vehicles.

"We are in receipt of your correspondence in relation to the above matter.

We replied to the original notice on 11th September 2018, requesting a POPLA authorisation code which was duly ignored by your clients.
The correspondence we received from your clients did not comply with POFA 2012 in order to hold us liable as keeper nor hirer, as we are not the registered keeper of the vehicle in question. I would have thought that as “Specialists in Legal Recoveries” you would have advised your clients on the correct procedure needed for attempting to hold a Ltd company liable for a parking charge under POFA 2012.
Should you require some specialist knowledge on the subject of private parking matters, I am willing to work on a consultancy basis. I do have some morals though, but they can be bought at the right price.

I also question the validity of the additional £60 charge for “initial legal costs” that has been added, however as the alleged debt will be robustly defended in the unlikely event of any court claim, this additional charge is somewhat irrelevant, but hasn’t gone unnoticed.

Please refer this matter back to your client for cancellation, and also do try to be more tenacious with detail in any future correspondence with StaffsSW Fleet Ltd"

Over the next few weeks, I plan to get more and more condescending with them with a view to pi55ing them off so much that they either effectively white-list my fleet, or I get the chance to meet them in court.
Gladstones have left me alone for months, ZZPS and DRP still make a token effort, and QDR haven't sent me anything since one of their solicitors burst into tears and hung up on me.
I think she had confidence issues that were triggered when I questioned how she managed to become qualified when she appeared to have such little grasp of the subject and very little apparent abilities.
Not my proudest moment admittedly, but it got rid of a problem....

I do not advise anyone to take my chosen course of action - the vehicles I deal with are part of a large fleet, and we have a few more defence points that the private owners can not rely on.

I'm actually paid to do this, and I have the full backing of my directors and customers.

Love it Staffs, and yes your actions are best left to the few of us who dare to win
BWLegal, Gladstones, QDR, SCS ... are both bulies and cowards.

They will not want to meet you in court because they will be trashed

If they do, I'm sure the court will be full of us watching the trashing

Off topic, I currently have a situation with my local council over
misappropriation in Adult care services of public funds.
All to do with my mother who was in a care home
I have reams of letters and even admittance letters of their errors
but they keep trying to fob me off.

I guess in the New Year, they will either concede or bow down to the exposure they will be given. Gently gently catch a monkey

    Same as BWLegal me thinks

The tale of the sobbing solicitor ...... :D

As I've said previously SW - I really like reading your posts.

    EDIT TO ADD

I note that TD has sprinkled his holy water upon you too!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

They tried it with me and ended up making a donation to a charity of my choice. Have you contacted any opposition councillors, some may have an axe to grind.

Sorry did not notice that I was advising one of the illuminati to suck eggs

I have been on LinkedIn and visited every single one of the 87 employees listed at BW Legal, just so it shows on their "who has viewed your profile" page.

I feel a bit like Santa but with an extra long naughty list. Lumps of coal all round I think.

I do wonder how many of the 87 realise where their wages come from ????? Maybe, they are all related to the Kray Twins

I'm not sure if they are brave, stupid, or simply automated.
