There letter is worded such that they list what could happen if i dont cough up now, including bailiffs, attachment of earnings and 'order to attend court for questioning', but is clearly designed to make me think they are going to call up my employer and ask them to pay.
Im 99% sure they have tried to call my mobile, and im very keen to find out how they got that number.0 -

Scare tactics. Accessing mobile numbers is a fairly commonplace phenomenon reported here. They will have used a trace agency.
Simply block the number on your mobile. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

It's the same as the other threads about this letter. Seen it half a dozen times already on here, it is NASTY.
Horribly misleading to send that to people who HAVE acknowledged and indicated they will be defending the claim.
No template, just send a copy to the SRA and point out how misleading it is, and show an MCOL screenshot proving you acknowledged this in good time and no-one should be getting a threat like this when busily drafting a defence that BW Legal know is happening.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Regulars don't get caught out by scammers, so no opportunity. But here are a small number of cases which got juices flowing at the time, but it all seems to have fizzled out.

ok i shall rephrase, if you were caught out by a scammer in the future and the scammers had failed to meet the requirements for POFA, would you in addition to following the actions in the newbies thread, and defending their claim, file a suit for breach of the DPA?0

Received another BWL Letter warning me to reply to them or to the Court Claim or they will issue a CCJ.0

Writing to BW today to inform them they have failed to respond to my SAR and that i am reporting them to the ICO and SRA.
Just to i have this clear in my head, i initially sent an SAR to both Britannia, and BW seperatley, so i should receive 2 SARs back, one from each?0 -
