  • Got the settlement offwe letter through last week. £190.
They have responded to some of the points in the defence but not all of them, they do seem to be relying on POFA as well which i think goes in my favour as their NTK was not POFA compliant.

Still waiting on a court allocation date.
  • Received a settlement offer of £100, considering offering to settle if they pay me the £100.

    Court date approaches!

    Getting nearer to them discontinuing!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

    As Umkomaas says above.

Not very sure are they ??? Why not explain to them that it would be cheaper to pay you £100 than getting spanked in court again and your costs claim ........ it will cost them more than £100

Might hurry up their discontinue letter which will come

Let's face it, any reputation they had is being shot to pieces, maybe invite them to appear before Judge Rinder
  • Thanks both,

What would I say, something like - ‘thanks for your offer but I think it would be cheaper for you to pay me the £100 in full and final settlement’ ?

If I’m close to a discontinuance I don’t feel like antagonising them !♂️
  • Received the discontinuance today.

Many thanks to all who contributed to my defence and the forum in general!
