Thanks everyone, really pleased with how things have worked out. I finish work on Thursday and I have then got 2 months off, can't wait

We've been looking at our finances and prioritising for next year... everything looks fine, but we haven't made any inroads into saving. We still have no debt and we have £1k in our emergency fund, but other than that, we've only managed to save £1k across our other pots, which is a bit rubbish. Definitely something to improve next year!

Tier 4! What a pile of poo! Ugh.
On a positive note, my last day at work was nice and I've been enjoying my time off so far. Two of my children are having to isolate as they were sitting close to covid kids at school, which is annoying, but we're not cooping them up in their rooms. My mum is part of our bubble as lives alone and she'd still like to come Christmas Day. I've left it to her as it's her risk to take or not.
Hope everyone is well and muddling through
