That theme park was definitely a win then - and I agree that was very reasonable spending allowing for your numbers!
I'm most definitely NOT a cardio bunny in the gym - it baffles me that people can go in spend half an hour each on the treadmill, bike and elliptical without getting so mind-numbingly bored that they fall asleep... I get my cardio from walking (running when I'm not injured) and cycling, I'm not going to spend money to do those things indoors staring at a blank wall, or screen! Each to their own I guess!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Housework day today and then working the next 3 (2 NHS, 1 private), so shouldn't be spendy. I've made soup for my work lunchesDFD March 2025 (£35000 paid off)

EH - I much prefer walking the park or even down a street to a treadmill. Enjoying cloasses though.
Ohsh - Well done on the soup and housework. Hope you have a good week.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Busy few days at work, long weekend break now, which will be nice
Soup was very tasty and saved me money as it stopped me popping to the shops!
I switched energy provider a month or so ago and got the credit amount refunded yesterday, £230 which was nice. I wasn't sure if we'd get it as the company are on the brink of collapseHave cleared the remaining balance on Next with it.

Good work getting Next cleared - remember to keep an eye on your energy bills going forwards too though - with the way prices have gone we decided to pay our Bulb refund of credit straight across to the new supplier - although annoyingly that new supplier now seems to have lost it, not ideal!Enjoy your “fun” day! 😆🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Well done on the Next OP @ohdearhowdidthathappen
Ouch @EssexHebridean that would be my worst nightmare. I have taken a photo of my credit so hopefully mine will be okay where it is - but I am in limbo between 2 suppliers...

New supplier has predicted what our bills will be and I've added 10% on to start with. I've got their app and will keep a close eye, we're not great with our energy consumption. Older kids especially are always wired up to some gadgetry. And the tumble dryer and dishwasher get used daily

Busy weekend, but not spendy. Had MIL over for lunch Saturday and once she's here she stays all day. My inner grump finds it annoying as she's local so we see her regularly. But she's sweet and harmless and probably a bit lonely, so I go with the flow. DH used to be quite naughty and leave me to entertain her, once he even went off for a nap!! I'm quite firm with him now and he has to stay around.
Sunday, I did an extra shift. Those shifts are lucrative, but I try not to do too many as impacts on our weekend and it's a really early start which leaves me tired in the evening. Still, the extra money will be nice towards Christmas spendsDFD March 2025 (£35000 paid off)
