Hi, does anyone know if any of these brokers don't do a credit check when you sign-up? I know iii said they do a check, but it's not logged on your credit file, but I'm not sure what that would entail, then.

But if anyone here has an account with them, or Sharecrazy or Shareview etc, and can confirm that they don't do a credit check, I'd appreciate it.

    Thanks

iii turned me down due to my credit rating! So they do check. They are part of Halifax and they turned me down too for share dealing account (I tried with them afterwards). Hoodless Bedlam (who are closing some share dealing sections) and Hargreaves Lansdown both provided me with a share dealing account despite my terrible credit rating.

They dont give any credit so thats slightly puzzling, they are required to confirm details for laundering reasons

"Interactive Investor was acquired from AMP by CAPACC (Capital Accumulation Limited) in March 2004"

So they are are an independant company but the service is operated by (sub-contracted out to) Halifax?
