I have no doubt this will have been asked 30000+ times over, a relative has shares held in paper form that she's wishing to sell. Can anyone recommend the cheapest, most convenient way to do so? Shes older - less paper work involved the better.

Hi to all
Please forgive my ignorance before I start as I don't know much about buying stocks.
My question is I have a large position in physical silver bullion and I'm very much in profit but I want to protect my position by buying some SLV puts on a 6month position probably 33 dollar October put
I don't have a clue how to do this, how to find a broker or set up a day trading account I want the cheapest way to insure my silver position I do feel that there could be a short term sell off of silver on the comex and LBM but I am bullish on silver and gold for the future (I won't reply to any troll slagging off silver/gold)
But need help on this buying SLV puts,thank you for your assistance .

OK this is most likely a stupid question.

I hold some Wren Extra shares, an AIM listed company that entered CVA at the end of March and were subsequently removed from AIM.

I'd assumed that that was it and I should consider those assets lost, but they still show in my sharetrading account with an option to sell at 0.02p.

If I press the sell button I could £25 back, but who exactly would be buying them?

Ask your broker. Shares can be sold in private companies, its just not on public record I guess. A stock exchange requires companies to satisfy certain conditions, give out info freely and follow their rules basically.

If they got chucked out, it might still be a company, usually its down to the banks to decide if they give it the money to pay its bills and often owners have to hand over any rights to ownership in exchange for loan money.
Maybe its insolvent but asset rich (so can still bargain with creditors), Im wondering if this will happen to ZEN who I own a tiny bit of. Its a proper company just cast adrift somewhat
