I wrecked my head doing the same thing although my debt was costing me 15 quid a month or so. I think if there is a real possibility of moving keep it in savings? (have you opened a Help to buy? -if you are eligible ? ) but I understand the feeling of wanting rid of it. Use the move as an incentive to pay it off even more?

    xx

Thanks Buffy! I think you're right, having made 36 million 'pros and cons' lists... one part of me does just want rid, but if I carry on saving, I could do that anyway at any time if I get too impatient. But if I do it the other way round, I'll maybe end up using credit for moving costs and get myself back where I started. Which would be, uh, disappointing to say the least... :)

Thanks for replying, I really appreciate a second opinion. I send myself mad when I try to work it through myself :rotfl: xx
